This kitchen makeover in Woodford Halse, Northamptonshire, beautifully blends modern living with rustic charm, creating a contemporary cottage aesthetic. The project centred on a stunning contrast between the soft Oakgrain cream Richmond-style doors and a bold Dark Storm gloss splashback, providing a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere that perfectly suits a modern home in a rural setting.
To complement the rich textures, Danish block square edge worktops were installed, tying the design elements together seamlessly. We incorporated practical and stylish features, including sleek 14mm bar handles in stainless steel and a Caple Sotera 150 inset sink in desert sand, with an Avel dual lever tap in brushed nickel. Functionality was significantly upgraded with the addition of a new breakfast bar, a vertical radiator, a Neff induction hob, and a Neff digital extractor. Additionally, we fitted a second Neff oven, relocated the customer’s built-in microwave, and installed cabinet downlights throughout, ensuring every detail contributed to a truly transformed and highly functional space.
